Instead they want a new doctor’s note every 6 months and they increased my monthly bill rate during that time.
So technically, we are not those «Oh, it’s a new year so I’m going to join a gym for a month and then quit!» people. We just didn’t have the money to join until Santa helped us out.
A lot of concerns from a safety standpoint come to mind here. It was really warm the day we worked out, and I heard someone else ask their staff if the AC was working, she replied yes, it’s on full blast, but it definitely didn’t feel like it – more like the heat was on. The free weights and machine side is what it is, no frills, kind of old school, no real problem there. Classes are included, which they seem to have a lot of and they also have a smoothie bar. I was really blown away though by the fact that they stated to us that we were getting a great deal from our old membership with F19, because normally their memberships are roughly $ 30.00 a month. We were paying $ 10.00 at F19. Great location, not-great parking and in bad need of a cardio re-fresh. We’ll look elsewhere.
Knowing my membership was to expire and following the terms of my contract, I personally went into the gym on 12⁄24 and told them I would not be renewing my membership. Kim (the employee with a name tag that said, «Kim») told me that I would have to pay a $ 58 fee to cancel. I explained I wasn’t canceling, just informing them that would not be renewing. This confused her (I suppose no one had ever cancelled?) and she said I would have to come back on Jan 24 to end my membership.
I’ve been coming every day for six months now and truly don’t have words to explain the experience. If you’re new to HIIT, and new to F45 just hang in there for a couple/few months and I promise you’ll be an advocate also!
I feel encouraged and not threatened by the coaches and thanks to the heart rate monitoring, I'm able to go at my own pace and do what works for me.
Overall, if you want a clean gym for about $ 10/month, without classes, and with rows of a few types of cardio equipment, then this place is for you.
(and all of this for an incredibly reasonable price) I live 15 minutes from this location and still choose to be a member here over gyms that are closer to home.
Scott M. Classificação do local: 5 Saint Louis, MO I was aware of Lilly for awhile but never took the plunge until she convinced me to try her ballet body boot camp. Well after finally getting a free night I could attend I took her up on the offer. All I have to Leia Mais say is WOW! I am in decent shape, but this definitely was a workout. Prior to starting the class I couldn’t touch my toes and by the end I was able to touch Clique Aqui them without bending my knees. I also had a full body workout that was great cardio as well.
Kathryn S. Classificaçãeste do local: 2 Saint Louis, MO I’m at a loss to figure out how this place earned such high marks from others. I tried the one week free membership trial, and maybe I just had a bad experience, but truly, this place seems mediocre at best. The person who set up my membership gave me absolutely pelo useful information, just pushed a card at me and told me to have at it. When I asked for a rundown of the facility, policies, membership options, etc., she was nice enough, but not helpful.
Let’s just say if I had to choose between running a couple miles or taking her class it would be this class hands down! Saber mais info Not only was the music a nice addition but the atmosphere was amazing. She was able to teach while Leia Mais performing so that a ballet novice, like myself, would be able to do the simple moves and do them properly. Even if you are a guy I highly recommend going. I did and I’m going back for more classes. I’ve brought a couple out and they both loved it as well! This is definitely worth checking out!
The gym is very clean. It doesn’t smell. It could use more circulation and fans. The huge overhead fan is nice, but everyone wants a machine beneath it, which inevitably Saber mais info leads to those machines being a bit overused and louder/more worn than those falling outside of the giant fan’s reach. Frustrating.
We use a heart rate monitor in our fitness classes to let you and your coach know when you should push further, or when you should scale back and recover. Unlike high-intensity interval training (HIIT) at a gym, you adjust your level of effort based on what your heart tells you.
On Jan 19 I was charged again and when I called the gym I spoke with Ashley who denied a Kim ever worked there… never good to start off lying to customers, especially ones that keep records of shady operations like this one. Again, she stated that I would be charged $ 58 to cancel my membership (note the theme of trying to collect $ 58 every time the customer mentions they don’t want to renew) and I explained I wasn’t «cancelling» just not renewing my membership.
